ABOUT THE SPEAKER
ERIK SUSSMAN CFP,CFhC,CLU
Erik Sussman is the Chairman and Founder of the IFW and brings over 25 years of financial services experience, success and insight to his roles, to improve the lives of clients, associates, and to make a difference in the community. 

From 2012 – 2020 Erik served as the South Florida CEO of a Fortune 500 financial services company. Erik has extensive experience developing and increasing the growth and development of companies and financial associates he has worked with. He has received numerous industry awards for his leadership and management skills. 

Erik entered the financial services industry right out of college in the greater New York area, and was quickly promoted into sales management. In 2000, at the age of 26, he became an Executive Vice President. 

Erik believes that everyone’s economic and life situations are unique. Personalized service is essential when matching clients with the right financial services and advisors. Local residents and businesses rely on us to help them secure their financial futures, and our commitment doesn’t end there. “Our community involvement is deeply important to us and our time and resources invested are additional reasons we will continue to earn the trust from so many in the South Florida area.” 

Erik is currently on the Board of Directors at Junior Achievement in Broward County, and the Board of Directors at Jewish Federation/Broward County. He has earned the Chartered Life Underwriting, Certified Financial Planner® and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations and holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park. He lives in Fort Lauderdale and enjoys spending time with his beautiful daughter, Olivia, family and friends.
